3. MONITORING & EVALUATION OFFICER, based in Danang or Hanoi

ADP is an approach to child focused development, emphasizing the process of community participation, sustainability, and integrating activities in the areas of food security, agriculture, micro-enterprise, health, nutrition, education, water, and sanitation.

PROJECT OFFICER

Main Responsibilities:

The Project Officer will assist the Team Leader in designing and developing project plans, monitoring the implementation of project activities to achieve stipulated objectives, and to transfer the ownership of the development of the ADP to the community members.

Requirements:

• A University graduate in any field, preferably in health and/ or community development or social work.
• At least 4 years relevant work experience in community development including demonstrated capacity in program management.
• Well developed planning, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Good computer skills (word processing, excel and power point).
• Experience in public health and primary health care.
• Experience in program implementation and participatory approach.

BOOKKEEPER/ PROJECT ASSISTANT

Main Responsibilities:

The position will assist the Team Leader in maintaining the books of accounts and other financial records of the project and adhering to the financial standards of World Vision financial system to ensure good accountability. In addition, maintain good Customer Relations (CR) through following WV’s CR guidelines and policy.

Requirements:

• A University graduate in any field, preferably in community development, social work and business administration.
• Good knowledge of and work experience in accounting.
• Computer literacy, particularly use Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.


MORNITORING & EVALUATION OFFICER

Main Responsibilities:

The position will assist the Monitoring & Evaluation Manager in implementing effective monitoring and evaluation (M&E) systems across all of WVV’s programs, including both Area Development Programs and Special Funded Projects. In addition, assist in further developing and improving the quality of M&E systems across WVV’s entire program.

Requirements:

• A University graduate in any field, preferably in community development management or economics.
• Good knowledge of and work experience in monitoring & evaluation and management of information systems.
• Good skills in training and capacity building.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.

Common requirements for all positions:

• Good written and oral communication skills in English and Vietnamese.
• Commitment to work with and learn from poor people, especially children.
• Willingness to travel as required by the assignment.
• Experience in working with NGOs or a good understanding of community development is helpful.
