Keppel International Scholarships - Vietnam
Launched in 2003, the Keppel International Scholarships offer outstanding young Vietnamese managers an excellent opportunity to pursue the NUS MBA program and an enriching career with a global conglomerate. Applicants must be successfully admitted to the NUS MBA Program. Upon the successful completion of the course, scholars will be required to serve a 2-year bond with a Keppel company.
Value of the Award
Each scholarship will provide for:
(i) Tuition and all other compulsory fees
This covers tuition and other fees that are deemed compulsory by the
company, which will be assessed according to the requirements of the
institution of study. Some examples are registration, health insurance,
examination, and sport fees.
(ii) Airfare
One economy class air ticket directly from home country to Singapore on
commencement of the course of study; and one economy class air ticket
directly to home country upon successful completion of the course of
study leading to award of degree.
(iii) Living Allowance
A monthly living allowance of S$1,200, subject to a maximum of S$14,400
per annum.
(iv) Settling-In Allowance
A one-time settling-in allowance of S$500 to assist the scholar in his
relocation expenditure
(v) Computer/Notebook Subsidy
A one-time reimbursement of computer/notebook purchases of up to
S$2,000, during the scholar’s course of study.
The award does not provide for other expenses not stated above, such as freight
charges, excess baggage, expenses of family members, etc. It also does not
cover any fees, expenses or costs borne by the candidate prior to the award of
the scholarship, for example, application fee, fares or expenses to attend
interviews, etc.
